33 Days to Morning Glory

Want to grow in holiness, but are just too busy? Want to transform your work, your marriage, your family, and your life, but just don’t seem to have the time?  Are you looking for the quickest, surest, and easiest way to holiness, but don’t know where to begin?  In our hectic day and time, Saint Pope John Paul II & Saint Teresa of Calcutta knew that the quickest way to be transformed into a Saint is through consecration to Our Blessed Mother Mary.

Join us for a small-group retreat, 33 Days to Morning Glory, as we prepare ourselves for Marian consecration. During this 6 week retreat we will read and reflect on the writings of 4 Marian giants: St. Louis de Montfort, St. Maximillian Kolbe, St. Teresa of Calcutta, and St. Pope John Paul II.  They will teach us the secrets to drawing closer to the Heart of Jesus through consecration to Our Blessed Mother.

We will meet weekly to share our insights with each other on the readings and watch a video by the popular author and speaker, Fr. Michael Gaitley (MIC), which brings our individual reflections and group experience into a clear and livable focus.  We have sessions available on Tuesdays from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m., and Thursdays from 9:30  - 11:00 a.m. The retreat begins the last week in August, Tuesday the 29th for night sessions or Thursday the 31st for day sessions, with the Marian consecration ceremony being held on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.

There is a sign-up sheet available on the table in the Gathering Space or contact Sue at svrana@stpaulracine.org prior to August 21st. Please note which session, Tuesday evening or Thursday mornings, you are most interested in attending.  The cost is $10 for the 33 Days to Morning Glory book & other materials.  If you already own the book the cost is $3 for the additional materials needed.  Please pay Sue at the Parish office before August 21st
