Advent Giving Tree

As Advent approaches, the Human Concern Committee would like to share the designated charities for this year's campaign that starts on Thanksgiving (November 23rd) and ends on January 2nd. With the homelessness in our community, we have chosen 2 organizations that work tirelessly to address it: Halo (Homeless Assistance Leadership Organization) and Bethany Apartments.

The mission of Halo is to provide a pathway to self-sufficiency for those experiencing homelessness in Racine County. Bethany Apartments was established in 1990 as a sanctuary and strength for victims of domestic violence. Speakers for both organizations will speak after Mass November 18th and 19th, to give an overview of these organizations.

The Advent Giving Tree will be in the Gathering Space with envelopes decorating the tree. We invite you to take an envelope off the tree and give whatever you can to help these organizations. No gift is too small. We ask that checks be made payable to St. Paul the Apostle. The envelopes can be placed in the collection baskets or dropped off in the office. Each week during Advent, their will be more facts/details in the bulletin regarding these charities.
